Petplex Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Buckeye Lake. The professional and courteous staff at Petplex seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for their highly valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. Petplex cares for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rates and guinea pigs.

The practice was founded by Dr. Douglas M. Poorman, Licensed Veterinarian, a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced veterinary medicine for 12 years and has cared for both large and small animals, as well as a variety of exotic pets.

Jessica Williamson, Licensed Veterinarian, has worked at Petplex since April 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown College and received a veterinary degree from The Ohio State University.

Tracy Gray provides grooming services for Petplex Animal Hospital. She has been a dog and cat groomer for 16 years and has participated in many local competitions. The benefits of providing grooming services in a clinic include the ability to quickly care for a skin or ear issue while the animal is being groomed.
